We believe that the Bible should be accessible to all ages. Jesus welcomed little children and blessed them! The children are an important part of our Sunday services each week.
During the early part of the service, there is often a children's talk (that the grown-ups also enjoy too!), where the wonderful truths of the Bible will be shared with them in fun, interesting and understandable ways. This often involves discovering what unusual items Pastor Ian has brought along in his 'black bag!'
Then, later in the service, the children will go out to their Sunday School class, where they learn Bible stories, memory verses, and enjoy crafts and activities designed to help them remember what they are learning from the Bible.
We have long-established relationships with local schools, meaning we are able to share 'OPEN THE BOOK' Bible stories with the children & teachers.
We also send invitations to the children in the local schools to come to our "PICNIC CLUB" events. These are aimed at children ages 4 to 11yrs and are held at the Chapel four times a year, on Saturdays between 11.30am and 2.00pm.
The children are invited to bring a packed lunch with them to enjoy all together, and will hear a Bible story, sing songs, play games and do crafts.
The next Picnic Club date is TBC.
